Robbins Firm Attorney Elected Chairman of Ethics Committee
The City of Marietta Ethics Committee unanimously elected Robbins Firm attorney David Dove as chairman of the committee. Dove was first appointed to the Ethics Committee in January of 2017. Dove’s practice at the Robbins Firm focuses on regulatory matters at the federal, state, and local levels, including campaign finance, government ethics, and administrative hearings. Prior to joining the Robbins Firm, Dove served as the interim Director of Georgia Elections as well as Chief of Staff & Legal Counsel to Secretary of State Brian Kemp.
The City of Marietta Ethics Committee is charged with oversight and enforcement of Marietta’s ethics in government act. In addition to providing advisory opinions for municipal officials, the committee also receives and investigates ethics complaints. The Committee also provides recommendations to the City Council for the disposition of cases. Marietta is Georgia’s 14th largest city and has been designated a City of Ethics by the Georgia Municipal Association.
